Intimate dreamy wedding at Auberge du Pommier in Toronto / Paula + Kirill

One of my favorite things about documenting weddings is how different all of them are. It’s so much fun to see how a couple can orchestrate an event that completely reflects their style and taste. For some it may be big and extravagant and for others it’s a small and intimate gathering of the closest friends and family just like these two amazing souls, Paula and Kirill. The moment when Kirill turned around to see his princess Paula and tears rolled down his eyes, witnessing a couple so madly in love being able to be their beautiful selves, and capturing those fleeting moments of time is truly an honour. I feel this post of ten frames doesn’t do their day justice. From the beginning of the day to the end my heart was just bursting! It was epic!! It's moments like these that give me purpose. In honesty, for me capturing “moments” isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being your beautiful self and letting all that judgement of ourselves to be set aside. 

Today I had the honour and blessing of capturing Paula and Krill's intimate wedding celebration at the Auberge Du Pommier. This little French restaurant delivers an amazing experience, as if you were teleported to a French cottage country. This small wedding venue is made for wedding photography, with authentic decor, including wood burning fireplaces, a beautiful garden, and a stunning patio made for intimate wedding ceremonies.

As a wedding photographer and wedding guest I was truly blown away by the amazing quality of service everyone received. The restaurant staff were ALL superb. The attention to detail was remarkable. The presentation and the quality of food were to die for. I cannot wait to go back.

Paula and Kirill, thank you both from the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of your day!! I am so blessed and thankful to have met you. Your wedding day was everything you dreamed it to be. I am truly inspired by your love for each other. Thank you for all of your hospitality - sharing your beautiful light, energy, and love with me!! I’ve never been treated like such royalty before!! Your wedding day was truly magical - and felt like I was capturing scenes out of a Disney movie!! I know this isn’t the end, but just the beginning of an everlasting friendship!

Beyond all the beautiful and dreamy settings of Auberge du Pommier, these two were just very happy to get married surrounded by all their favorite people together in one room. And at Katie Crane Photography, we couldn’t be happier for them!
