Scarborough Bluffs Engagement / Brittney + Matt


The Scarborough Bluffs is one of the most romantic and photogenic places in Toronto. It offers a stunning vista of Lake Ontario, and is a popular destination for couples looking to elope, or for photographers looking to capture some beautiful engagement photos. The Scarborough Bluffs is sure to win any nature lover’s heart. This beautiful gem on the east side of the city is the spot for breathtaking views, heavenly light, and so much green space for romantic strolls. Needless to say, known not only for its beautiful surroundings, it also served as the perfect backdrop for Brittney and Matt because they both had history and roots with this location.


Brittney and Matt took advantage of the perfect weather to walk and kick off their shoes for a playful time in the sand and water. It’s not hard to share an intimate moment with your significant other when you’re surrounded by the beauty of nature. Sometimes it's nice for couples to bring two different outfits for the shoot to portray their personality and style. When deciding on what to wear I tend to tell my couples to be mindful of the tones/colours you are wearing so that they complement you while blending with the scenery/location you’re shooting in.


For Brittney and Matt, we began our session catching up and taking a little stroll through the park. Talking and laughing at some awesome moments from Brittney's brother Connor and Carly's wedding, and belly laughing at "Katie's corny jokes" we made each other laugh, making it so easy to capture candid moments that radiated their love. We then ventured our way down to the water, where Britt and Matt walked along the shoreline, danced in the water, and snuggled on the rocks overlooking fluffy clouds and cotton candy skies!! It was the perfect evening to share romantic memories with each other.


Brittney and Matt, thank you both so much for an amazing evening sharing a piece of your love story with me!! I cannot wait until September 16th!! It’s gonna be a big family reunion heheh!! So epic!!! Countdown is on!
