Terrace Banquet Centre Wedding / Gabriella + Adam

I had the honour and blessing of capturing Gabriella + Adam's epic wedding celebration! I do have to admit I have never witnessed such an epic party and celebration in my entire life!! It was sooooo AWESOME!! Being involved in Gabriella & Adam's wedding was a dream come true - not only were they the most down to earth, easy-going and sentimental couple I had the honour of working with. But, I got to work alongside such an amazing planner, colleague, and friend - Jenna from Classic Affairs by Jenna. She reached out to me saying, "I have a client who is very interested in your style and I think personality wise would be a great fit." And Jenna was sure right!!!! We clicked instantly. 

CAN YOU DESCRIBE TO ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR WEDDING DAY? WHAT WERE SOME OF THE BEST MOMENTS LEADING UP TO THE DAY AND DAY OF? 

"Our wedding was more than we ever imagined! We felt so much love from our family and friends and the energy throughout the day was so memorable. We decided not to see each other for two nights leading up to the wedding, so our first look was really special. We didn't know what the other's outfit was (besides the colour), so it was all very exciting! It also made us realize "well, we are getting married today!" I couldn't be more thankful for my friends. Their love and energy made our day that much more meaningful. We had the best time getting ready together and I was so excited to show them my dress for the first time, which was really special for me.”

WHAT WERE SOME OF YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENTS CAPTURED FROM YOUR GALLERY WHEN LOOKING BACK - HOW DID IT MAKE YOU FEEL, ANY EMOTIONS YOU FELT, ETC. (COULD BE FROM DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES TOO!).

“I love looking back at the photos where my parents and siblings come to see me for the first time - all ready. It was an overwhelming moment, but all for good reasons. I remember my dad doing some sort of ridiculous knock before walking in, which is a classic move for him. I also love seeing my friends reactions to my dress, as I didn't show or tell any of them about it before! I knew they would be surprised, as my dress was slightly different from my usual style. I also love looking back at the photos of me walking out to see Adam. I remember seeing him when I walked outside, and I immediately started tearing up because it hit me that we are about to see each other on our wedding day. I love looking at our reception photos, specifically the Horah

because those photos truly capture the wildness and insane energy that overtook the room.”

ANY ADVICE FOR COUPLES TO DO BEFORE OR EVEN DURING YOUR WEDDING DAY? 

"Enjoy it all! Let everyone else take care of any big or small obstacles that arise. Your job is to enjoy and get married. I remember around 5 days before the wedding everything was done - all final vendors' meetings were finished, scheduling was done and there really wasn't anything else to do. I told myself no more planning or worrying at this point and it helped me focus on what the day is meant to be all about. "
