La Primavera Event Space Wedding / Alexia + Alejandro

I had the honour and blessing of capturing Alexia and Alejandro’s wedding day at the beautiful La Primavera Event Space. La Primavera Event Space is a modern-classic style venue in Vaughan that embraces guests with a European atmosphere. Traditional décor meets contemporary design, leaving guests stunned by the extravagance of the venue.

Tender sentiments and exquisite details: beyond the embellishments lies a heart-felt story of Alexia and Alejandro's wedding day. Moments that make my heart skip a beat are filled with joy, fun, and love! Sentimental moments!!! But more than all of those amazing things combined is when I feel all the love and energy these two had because they were being completely free, being themselves, being present in the moment, and being surrounded by their loved ones and favourite people who shaped and impacted their lives. You can see it in the shots!! PURE JOY.

"What a day filled with so many emotions. So much laughter, tears, smiles, hugs… So thankful for Katie and Ryan for being able to capture those special candid and unforgettable moments. The best moments leading up towards the day was all the excitement and company we had with our family and wedding party helping us with any last minute touches before the big day! I loved the night of our rehearsal having everyone over my parents house for an early Wedding celebration, such an exciting time! Looking back at the gallery I LOVED how so many special moments were captured with all of our closest family members, in particular our grandparents, parents, other family members & close friends. We feel so fortunate to have had them all there and it means the world to have these memories captured so beautifully. Every time we go back to look at the gallery we are able to relive the day through the photos, it was truly so amazing and Katie made everything run so smoothly! Some advice we would give to couples is to take a moment for yourself and your partner. The day is so busy that it just flies by! Take a moment whether it is at dinner or near the bar or anywhere at the venue to just soak it all in, take a breath and look around and live in the moment. Be present with each other, even though all eyes are on you, enjoy your day almost as if no one is watching! Don’t forget to share all the kisses, smiles & giggles with each other as it will be the best day ever!"

Alexia and Alejandro I am at loss for words to express how sincerely grateful I am to be a part of your amazing day! It truly was the best day ever! Please thank all of your friends and family for making us feel so welcomed and at home, and for all their hospitality (Rosa’s snack pack!). Your family is truly one of a kind; and you all are such troopers for climbing up a million stairs in heels when we got stuck down the hill - moments we will never forget!!! Bawling my eyes out during your daddy and daughter dance as your sissy and mom made their way onto the dance floor - you guys are all amazing and such beautiful souls!

If there is one thing I can say about my couples this year…. They are BEYOND heart meltingly wonderful. And I am so grateful for that! I am the luckiest girl in the world to be a part of so many amazing love stories. When you meet the most adorable couples and families who share such amazing light, energy, and love with you, your “job” doesn’t feel like a job! I truly love what I do and that is because I get to be surrounded by the most amazing souls!!
